Building a campaign
Create a campaign, add content blocks, and send it to a list.
A campaign is a one-time email sent to a single list, built from a small set of content blocks.
Steps
- Go to Newsletter → Campaigns and click New campaign.
- Fill in:
- Campaign name — internal only, not shown to recipients.
- Subject line — what recipients see in their inbox.
- Send to list — pick from your existing lists.
- Click Create. You land on the campaign editor, status DRAFT.
- Click Add block to build the content — see block types below.
- Click Save.
- When ready, click Send and confirm.
Block types
| Type | Fields |
|---|---|
text | Raw HTML, rendered as-is in the email |
image | Image URL, optional alt text |
button | URL, label |
divider | No fields — a visual break |
Blocks can be reordered (up/down controls on each block) and removed individually.
The text block takes raw HTML directly, not a rich-text/WYSIWYG editor — you're
writing markup by hand. There's no visual editor for it yet.
Sending
Clicking Send requires confirmation, and once a campaign leaves DRAFT status
(moving to SENDING and then SENT), its name, subject, list, and content all lock —
the editor fields become read-only. If you need to send similar content again, create a
new campaign rather than trying to edit a sent one.
After sending, see Campaign analytics for delivery and engagement numbers.
Deleting a campaign
Only a DRAFT campaign can be deleted (from the campaigns list, or the campaign's own Danger Zone) — once it's sent, it stays as a record.
